Last night after dinner, our homestay mother was asking us where we would like to go today. We told her we weren't sure, but we'd think about it. So then she says "Have you been to hot spring before?" Hanna replied that she had. I hadn't, but thought it sounded neat. Then through futher conversation, it dawned on us that when you go to a hot spring, you have to get in naked! So we were a little hesitant, of course. :)
Our homestay mother tried to reassure us. "Men go in one, women go in other." She could tell that we were shying away from it. "No thank you?"
Haha. :)
In case you're interested, here is my schedule for the next couple of days:
Monday: Visit Kataoka Sensei's grave, have lunch with the other students and teachers.
Tuesday: Private lessons for all students. Yikes.
Wednesday: Meet the Mayor of Matsumoto!
Thursday: Rehearsal for Hanna and me.

We most certainly did not! :) They are still trying to persuade us though.
When I said to immerse yourself in the culture, this is NOT what I had in mind - LOL. Perhaps you could put your feet in?
