Hello! I am going to try to keep a blog during my stay in Japan. As most of you know, I am traveling to Matsumoto, Japan to take part in the 10-piano concert. It is a huge and wonderful opportunity for me, and I am glad to take part in it!
We are currently still on the looong international flight to the Narita (Tokyo) airport. It’s not been too bad though. They served some interesting food like Chinese noodles. Yes, Chinese.(Not Japanese??) We ate them with chopsticks, and that was a good trial run to test my ability to use chopsticks. :)
As soon as we land, we will find the other students and teachers and get on a bus which will take us to Matsumoto. Hopefully we won’t get there too late! I wonder if they’ll make me dig out my slippers from my suitcase before I enter their house. :)
That’s all for now. Almost to Japan!

Interesting that you'd get Chinese noodles, and funny that they'd give chopsticks. I can imagine you were very tired after the journey. Now, begins the fun part!
How exciting for you, and what a wonderful opportunity and adventure. I'll be reading with interest.
Love, Robin
